Elbow Pathology
ULNAR NERVE SUBLUXATION
A: Ulnar nerve (arrow) appears as the round hypoechoic structure on the lateral side of the the medial epicondyle. 7

B: Image taken with flexion of the elbow, note that the ulnar nerve has passed anteriorly and medially over the medial epicondyle onto the other side. 7
ULNAR NERVE IMPINGEMENT
Image of the ulnar nerve, note the hypoechoic swelling. 7

DISTAL BICEPS TENDON RUPTURE
Longitudinal image over the anterior elbow shows the stump of a proximal retracted and lax torn biceps tendon. 3

DISTAL BICEPS TENDON PARTIAL RUPTURE
Longitudinal image distal to the biceps tendon showing hypoechoic and mildly irregular distal biceps tendon with partial fiber discontinuity (curved white arrow) and adjacent hypoechoic hemorrhage. 3

TENDINOSIS
Long axis image distal to the biceps tendon shows a hypoechoic and swollen distal biceps tendon (arrows). Was painful withtransducer pressure (common symptom of tendinosis). 3

MEDIAL EPICONDYLITIS
A: Long axis to the common flexor tendon show hypoechoic tendinosis in all cases (arrows) with additional calcification (arrowhead) 3

LATERAL EPICONDYLITIS
A: Long axis of the common extensor tendon show abnormal hypoechoic tendinosis (arrows) 3

B: Note the cortical irregularity (bone irregularity adjacent to the tendon is common). 3
OLECRANON BURSITIS
